Remove the Google Meet tab from the Gmail app on Android and iOS
If you are using the Gmail app on your Android phone or iPhone and want to disable the Google Meet tab in your inbox, follow these steps.
Start form here, Open Gmail on your phone> Tap the hamburger icon> Go to Settings.
Tap your email address to proceed. If you have multiple accounts, you must deactivate the Meet tab individually for each of your email addresses.
Now, scroll down and find the Meat tab. Do not select the Meet tab for video calling.
When done, your Gmail app will return to its old design.
Remove the Google Mert tab from Gmail for the web
Follow these steps to delete the Meat tab in Gmail for the web.
On the computer, open Gmail> Click the CAG icon to go to Settings> View All Settings.
Click Start Chat and Meat> Meat Hide section in the main menu.
That means you will no longer see the Meet tab in Hangouts.
